John is a Chartered Psychologist, researcher and clinical hypnotherapist. He began practising hypnotherapy in London in 1999, before completing an MSc in Health Psychology and a PhD in Psychology.
His wider work includes men’s mental health and the psychological aspects of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis within a therapeutic session. John's approach includes focused attention, relaxation and guided imagery. The initial conversation is an opportunity to ask how he would work with you.
Can I have sessions online?
John's current website lists online sessions as well as appointments in London and Bury St Edmunds. Contact John to check current availability and arrangements.
How long is a session?
His booking page lists standard sessions as 50 minutes, with longer appointments for some purposes. John can confirm the format and cost before you book.
How do I know whether it is right for me?
